Wuku Langkir takes its name from the eleventh child of Prabu Watugunung and Dewi Sinta, who was born alongside his twin, Raden Mandasiya.
This wuku embodies the spirit of Bathara Berawa (Bathara Kala), a deity associated with wrath and disruption. However, those who pursue enlightenment can swiftly grasp its essence due to their sharp intellect and deep understanding, mastering the wisdom it imparts with ease.

In Sanskrit, 'kala' translates to time. Batara Kala is known as a formidable and fearsome god, governing time and all that pertains to it, including birth, death, and karma.
Within Javanese and Balinese culture, Batara Kala is frequently depicted as a terrifying giant, yet simultaneously revered as the guardian of cosmic balance.
