ABOUT
Wuku Wukir, or Ukir, represents the third wuku in the Pawukon calendar and takes its name from Raden Wukir, the eldest son of Prabu Watugunung and the twin of Raden Kurantil (Kulantir). While the Javanese refer to this wuku as Wukir, the Balinese term it Ukir, with both names carrying similar meanings reflective of their cultural contexts.
The traits of Wuku Wukir are shaped by its guardian deity, Batara Mahayakti, emphasizing qualities such as ambition, intellect, and a magnanimous heart. Individuals born under Wuku Wukir are characterized by their lofty aspirations and resilience in facing unfulfilled dreams. Their charm, good manners, and remarkable abilities often make them well-liked by superiors and peers alike.
They excel in collaborative settings, standing out for their sharp intellect, persuasive opinions, and determination to have their perspectives recognized. However, their strong desire to lead and dominate can sometimes strain personal relationships. While they perform admirably in group endeavors, their dominant personality may lead to fluctuating affections and difficulty maintaining close bonds.
When managed effectively, their commanding nature reveals exceptional leadership potential, paired with generosity and a natural charisma. However, they may require reminders to stay consistent in their words and actions.
Although prone to a fiery temperament and quick anger, those born under Wuku Wukir also possess the ability to forgive and move forward. This balance of ambition, intellect, and emotional resilience underscores their dynamic and influential nature.
