THE STRUCTURE OF A ZI WEI DOU SHU CHART
Creating a ZWDS chart involves several steps before one can fully understand the entire chart.
The image below shows a basic chart with the fixed positions of the animal signs. This position will never change regardless of your birth details and the system you use.
As mentioned earlier, this article is focusing on the Si Hua Flying Stars System, not San He. Si Hua is the 4 transformers called Hua Lu, Hua Quan, Hua Ke and Hua Ji. Si Hua Flying Stars System uses 14 major stars, 4 assistance stars and 4 Si Hua (transformers). 6 inauspicious stars and 2 minor stars also play a role, which will be explained in a separate article.
For this, you need the following details:
DOB (Date of Birth)
TOB (Time of Birth)
GENDER
Once you have the required details, you can start placing the stems, major stars, assistance stars and the 4 transformers accordingly.
The necessary details will determine which of the 12 houses will be designated as the 1st House (Life House), followed by the 2nd House (Siblings), 3rd House (Spouse), and so on.
In this example, we use the birth data of a fictional name, Mr. Lufio.
DOB: 05 December 1974
Once all the steps are in place, the complete chart will appear as follows:
Additionally, you may observe that in House 5, the Wealth Sector, the word "BODY" appears. The significance of this will be detailed in another article. Moreover, we will delve into all the previously mentioned stars and transformers, as well as the six inauspicious stars and two minor stars not yet included in this chart.
To construct a complete chart correctly, one must understand the proper method. For those who prefer to create it manually, there are books available online. Additionally, there are online programs that can automate the calculations.
If you are serious about studying this subject, then you should consider taking a professional course. Once you have mastered this subject, reading a chart becomes easier compared to Western astrology.
